How to Request Useful Sugargoo QC Photos and Measurements
A useful QC request explains which detail you cannot see and how an answer will help. Start with the particular item received for your order, rather than a photo from another buyer or listing.
Takeaway: Tell the agent which detail will help you make a decision.
Turn uncertainty into one clear question
Sugargoo’s published QC reference describes visual checks and a paid personalized-photography option. Check the service available for your order before requesting extra work. A request for a specific measurement also needs confirmation of feasibility and any fee.
Write the uncertainty first: “I cannot read the size label” or “I need to compare the flat chest width.” Then name the view or measurement that would answer it. “Please check everything” does not define the evidence you need.
Make the photo request specific
The following are editorial examples of requests, not a list of included services:
- Unreadable label: “Please provide a close-up of the size label on order [reference], with the text in focus.”
- Possible damage: “Please photograph the marked area and one wider view showing where it is on the item.”
- Footwear comparison: “If available, please photograph both shoes together from above so I can compare the visible pair.”
The QC reference lists limits: visual inspection does not guarantee authenticity or test electronic functionality. Ask a question the photo can actually answer.
Specify the method as well as the number
Seller charts may describe a garment rather than a body, and can use flat widths or circumferences. Match the requested measurement to the chart and to the garment you are using for comparison.
Example clothing request: “If this measurement service is available, please lay the hoodie flat without stretching it. Photograph a tape from one underarm seam to the other, with both endpoints visible. I need the flat chest width in centimetres.”
For length or sleeves, identify the start and end points using the seller’s diagram. Avoid comparing two numbers measured along different paths. Read the seller size-chart guide.
Check whether the answer resolves the question
- Confirm that the image belongs to the correct order and variant.
- Check that the requested area or both tape endpoints are visible.
- Record the unit and measurement method.
- Ask for clarification if the evidence is still unclear.
Resolve the decision before approving international shipping, while checking the relevant order deadlines. A clear photo is useful evidence for a visible detail; it cannot establish how the item feels or performs over time.
