Read frame dimensions as separate values
A frame may list lens width, bridge width and temple length, often in millimetres. Compare these with eyewear that fits you, and check the diagram rather than treating lens width as total frame width. A model number or a decorative mark should not be mistaken for a measurement.
Verify lens claims beyond the photograph
The FDA notes that dark lenses do not necessarily provide better UV protection. Look for reliable product specifications or labelling describing UV protection for the exact lenses. Polarization addresses a different property and is not, by itself, proof of UV protection. These directory photos do not verify lens performance.
Inspect fit details and arrange protection
Ask for clear views of the hinges, temples, nose area and frame alignment if those affect your choice. A case shown in a photo may not be included with every option, so confirm what comes with the order. Decide how the frames and lenses will be protected before consolidating a parcel.

Specific answers to help you compare this category.
Are the sunglasses on this page tested for UV protection?
No. They are source listing references. We do not publish a UV test result or certify their lenses.
Do darker lenses necessarily block more UV?
No. Visible darkness does not establish UV protection. Use reliable specifications and relevant labelling for the exact lenses.
Does a polarized label establish UV protection?
No. Polarization and UV filtering describe different properties. Check the UV protection specification separately.
