Actual weight includes the goods and packaging. Volumetric weight represents the space occupied by the packed parcel. A line may compare the two, or use another stated billing rule.

Volumetric weight = length × width × height ÷ the line’s divisor

Match the units and divisor in the route details. Check rounding and minimum charges too; do not assume every line uses the same calculation.
